  • Out of respect for local culture and for your own comfort while staying in Haridwar, we encourage modest and simple clothing during your time at the ashram and in surrounding public areas.

Loose, lightweight clothing that covers the shoulders, chest, and legs is generally most appropriate and comfortable for the climate. While yoga attire such as leggings or sleeveless tops may be suitable during practice sessions, we recommend covering appropriately when moving around the ashram or visiting town.

Haridwar is a traditional pilgrimage city where many visitors come from more conservative backgrounds. Dressing modestly often helps visitors feel more at ease and supports respectful interactions within the local community.

We generally recommend flying into Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.

From Delhi, there are two common options:

    Option 1 — Domestic Flight
Take a domestic flight from Delhi to Jolly Grant Airport, then a prepaid taxi to the ashram in Haripur Kalan, near Haridwar.

    Option 2 — Train
Take a train from Delhi to Haridwar Junction Railway Station, followed by a taxi or auto-rickshaw to the ashram.

Taxi services such as Uber and Ola are generally available in Delhi and Dehradun.
