Bhagavad Gita Courses
The Bhagavad Gita, one of the foundational texts of Sanatan Dharma, is a sacred dialogue between Lord Krishna and the warrior Arjuna, set on the battlefield of the Mahabharata. Faced with doubt and inner conflict, Arjuna turns to Krishna for guidance, and through this exchange, timeless teachings are revealed on duty, action, and the nature of life. The text offers a profound guide for any seeker looking to navigate life with clarity, purpose, and awareness.
At its core, the Bhagavad Gita presents the three classical paths of yoga: Karma Yoga, the path of selfless action; Bhakti Yoga, the path of devotion; and Jñāna Yoga, the path of knowledge and discernment. Rather than promoting withdrawal from life, it teaches how to act fully in the world while remaining inwardly balanced and unattached. Through this understanding, one begins to move beyond confusion and inner conflict toward a deeper sense of alignment and truth.
At YogAnga Retreat, Bhagavad Gita courses offer both philosophical understanding and direct experience of these teachings, guided by Alaknanda Puri. In the supportive environment of Sri Santosh Puri Ashram, participants are invited to integrate this wisdom into daily practices such as asana, meditation, and self-inquiry. Beyond study, the Gita becomes a living guide, helping to dissolve ignorance, deepen awareness, and cultivate a more lasting experience of peace, devotion, and inner freedom.
